2023 Summer Solstice Picnic – Saturday, June 24

Please join us for a neighborhood picnic. Everyone in the neighborhood is invited. This will be a chance to meet new neighbors, reconnect with old friends, and meet the babies that have enlivened our neighborhood over the past year or so.

WHEN: Saturday, June 24th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Goodrich Green space (at the end of Goodrich Avenue)

PPNA will provide grilled burgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs; chips; and drinks. If you’d like, bring a dish to share. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and bug repellent (just in case). Email us if you would like to help with set-up/take down or have a question about the picnic.

Hope to see you all there!

RAIN DID NOT DAMPEN OUR PLANT SALE!

Urban County Council Member James Brown at the 2023 Pensacola Park Plant Sale

The 2023 Pensacola Park Plant Sale was big success despite the cool and rainy morning. Even Urban County Council Member James Brown stopped by. We raised even more money this year than last. A HUGE THANK YOU to all the donors, volunteers, and patrons!

ANNUAL PLANT (AND ART!) SALE THIS SATURDAY MAY 20

If you’re in planting mode, stop in and buy something at our annual plant sale. The sale is this Saturday, May 20th, 9am-2pm at 125 Rosemont Garden.

We have houseplants, natives, veggies (including some rare tomatoes and peppers), perennials, herbs, and trees.

And this year we’ve invited our talented neighborhood artists who will also be selling items.

Proceeds from the sale go toward trees and other improvements for the neighborhood.

Contact us here or email pensacolapark@gmail.com for more information.
